Responsibilities
You will work with site leadership, supervisors, and employees at all levels; lead the human resources initiative to achieve business goals
You will build and develop an effective recruitment strategy and manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of all hourly and salaried personnel
You will assist in training and coach managers and employees on topics including performance management, benefits and wellness, workplace diversity, and MM Packaging policies
You will be in charge of fostering strong employee relations and maintain positive employee communication through town halls, meetings, and publications to employees
You will oversee employee disciplinary and termination procedures and coach managers on resolving employee issues
You will be responsible for HR metrics and reporting on a monthly basis
You will assist the Americas HR teams with HR initiatives, special projects, and change management plans
Qualification
Required
You have a Bachelor's degree, with emphasis on Human Resources or Business Management
You have already gained a minimum of 10 years prior experience in the human resources area, preferably in a manufacturing environment
You have strong technical skills/aptitude: demonstrates proficiency in MS Office programs
You must have excellent listening, writing, presentation and communication skills, with ability articulate and distill complex issues
You have the ability to multi-task, organize and build relationships with management and employees of all levels
You must be able to handle employee-sensitive and business information with utmost confidentiality
You must have a pragmatic, quick-thinking, and action-oriented leadership style
Preferred
If you have obtained Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification - it's preferred
