Responsibilities
Own the vision, strategy and execution for our suite of in-person and mobile payment APIs and SDKs (Terminal API, Mobile Payments SDK, In-App Payments SDK, Point of Sale API)
Use data and customer insights to make informed product decisions and measure success
Work closely with sellers, partners and 3rd-party developers to deeply understand their payment processes, pain points and needs
Work with engineering and design teams to deliver new features and capabilities, and to launch existing products in new markets
Collaborate with teams across Square (Hardware, Payments, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Writers, Developer Relations, Developer Success) to drive alignment, influence product direction, deliver products to market, and meet payment processing revenue goals
Qualification
Required
8+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success building complex developer, enterprise or B2B products
Experience shipping APIs or SDKs for an external developer audience, or prior work experience as a software developer; mobile or payments experience is a plus
Ability to articulate a compelling long-term vision and strategy for your product area, while breaking it down into actionable milestones
Strong analytical skills; experience using metrics to drive product decisions and measure success
A track record of working collaboratively with product delivery and go-to-market teams, as well as working directly with external customers and partners
Excellent communication skills; can drive clarity and alignment with large cross-functional teams
