As the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Safety National, you’ll guide full-stack development teams using .NET Core, Azure services, and NoSQL technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions

You'll play a pivotal role in modernizing legacy platforms, driving 12-factor app design, and aligning business priorities with technical strategies

You'll collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions while instilling best practices in clean code, automation, and observability

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview

7 or more years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Strong hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/C#

Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Cosmos DB

Solid background in NoSQL and relational database technologies

Deep understanding of 12-factor app principles and scalable design patterns

Experience designing RESTful APIs and building distributed systems

Proficiency in modern CI/CD practices and tools

Strong skills in observability (metrics, logging, tracing)

Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
