Patient Care Specialist

Joyous is on a mission to revolutionize mental health care by leveraging innovative treatments and technologies. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide compassionate support to patients, assist with administrative tasks, and collaborate with various teams to enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, utilizing empathy and understanding in every interaction
Address patient inquiries and concerns through personalized communication channels such as text and email, ensuring responses are timely and empathetic
Proactively manage and resolve patient disputes with a positive and solution-oriented approach, aiming to enhance patient satisfaction and trust
Facilitate the scheduling of initial consultations, answer treatment-related inquiries, and assist with logistics including shipping, medication refills, and more
Work closely with the Operations team, business partners, and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency
Provide psychoeducation and medical information to patients, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and treatment plans
Collaborate with the product team to identify and implement program enhancements and features that address patient needs
Identify and implement opportunities for process and service improvements to elevate the patient experience
Act as a bridge between patients and the pharmacy to swiftly address and resolve medication-related issues

Required

Possess a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling empathetic and effective interactions with patients and colleagues
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and proficiently navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within and across teams to achieve shared goals
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of in all aspects of patient care
