Responsibilities

Engineer and build our worldwide campus office networks. This includes the local networks that are used for wired and wireless connectivity, all shared equipment (printers, AV, etc.), infrastructure equipment (security equipment, IoT), and any special niche networks designed for a specific business purpose
Engineer and build the wide-area network with a focus on MPLS, point-to-point, SD-WAN, DIA, and WAN encryption technologies
Develop wireless solutions to meet business requirements
Leverage automation to ensure consistency in deployment, configuration, validation, and process improvement
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
Take a leadership role to collaborate closely with other members of the Campus Solutions team and with the project teams
Provide L3 troubleshooting support as needed
Stay current with emerging network and automation technologies to continuously improve solutions and support modernization goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Typically 6-10 years of experience
7-9 years of experience in campus network routing and switching required
Strong proficiency in the following: BGP and OSPF routing, wireless, SD-WAN, ZTP, MPLS, cloud, community tagging, NAC, vlans, IP subnetting, multicast, and encryption technologies
Knowledge of network and monitoring tools (e.g., Orion/Solarwinds, Forward Networks)
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., automation frameworks, Ansible, and Python)
Ability to think critically, prioritize work, and lead network initiatives
Ability to execute clear and effective verbal and written communication to diverse audiences
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Professional certifications in relevant technologies or infrastructure management are preferred
Experience in the financial services sector is a plus; 3 – 4 yrs strongly preferred
