Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact during on-site member training events

Coordinate logistics, room setup, and hospitality for a professional guest experience

Assist with light furniture moves and event setup

Coordinate and support efforts to ensure an organized and professional office environment

Coordinate office maintenance and facility updates

Represent GFOA on the building’s tenant council

Oversee purchase and organization of office supplies

Partner with HR to support onboarding and workstation setup

Manage requests for new or different furniture and equipment

Ensure ergonomic and functional needs are met

Oversee procurement and setup of office furniture and equipment

Coordinate safety training and emergency drills with building management

Maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations

Required

Experience in hospitality or in hospitality-adjacent roles

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

A proactive, customer service mindset

Familiarity with workplace safety protocols

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
