Responsibilities

Evaluates, selects, and applies standard plant design and piping engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications

Performs pipe support structural analysis using GTStrudl and review of systems in accordance with DoD UFC standards, ASME B31.3, AISC, or other applicable code where required

Development & application of typical pipe supports and/or creation of pipe support calculations/drawings for engineered pipe supports as required

Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by disciplines

Required

Level I: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience without a degree

PE Registration

Previous DoD project experience for Risk Category 5 facilities

Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards

Prior experience using GTStrudl structural analysis program

Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance

Must be a United States Citizen
