Responsibilities

Design and implement machine learning models for real-world intelligence applications

Integrate ML models into Palantir’s Foundry, leveraging ontologies, pipelines, and operational workflows to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions

Collaborate with the Head of AI to shape technical strategy, model experimentation, and production deployment

Partner with analysts and software engineers to build end-to-end solutions from data ingestion to applications

Drive best practices in experimentation, evaluation, and responsible AI principles

Take ownership across a broad range of engineering tasks, from prototyping to scaling production systems

Contribute to a culture of innovation, agility, and cross-functional collaboration

Required

Experience working with LLMs, multimodal models and bringing generative AI based features into production

Strong expertise in machine learning with a proven track record of building and deploying models

Solid software engineering foundation in Python and TypeScript

Experience working with Spark

Experience working in a startup, incubator, or fast-moving innovation environment, comfortable with ambiguity and broad responsibilities

Excellent problem-solving skills, communication ability, and a bias for action

Preferred

Experience working with Palantir Foundry, including ontology development, pipelines, and application integration

Experience in React for front-end development and integrating AI/ML systems with user interfaces

Background in MLOps practices

Understanding data security, risk intelligence, or global operations domains

Ability to translate complex technical results into user-facing solutions
