Responsibilities

Review job drawings and give instructions to engineers on how to design them
Review/Check Designs
Seal Drawings
Guide designers in ways to eliminate weight
Directly intervene with design solutions to keep individual projects on budget
Design field fixes and other engineering solutions for issues as they occur
Assist in the development of engineering standards and standard procedures
Occasionally design projects or portions of projects

Qualification

Structural Design ExperienceProfessional Engineer RegistrationMetal Building DesignEngineering Standards DevelopmentTeam Collaboration

Required

5-plus years of structural design experience in the Metal Building or PEMB industry
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer
Candidates must currently reside in the U.S. and be legally authorized to work in the U.S
