Responsibilities

Partner with project managers, change management, and communications team members, as well as subject matter experts, to execute cross-functional projects
Lead and participate in project team meetings; advise on solutions to business, technical and operational challenges
Produce project status reports and other deliverables, monitoring progress and maintaining adherence to best practices
Support the management of project artifacts, timelines, and strategic solutions to improve business performance
Develop, integrate, and deliver communication plans to support change initiatives across multiple business functions and audiences
Design, align, coordinate, and implement change management strategies for Clinical Sciences projects
Conduct impact analyses, cultural readiness and organizational alignment assessments, and stakeholder management for strategic initiatives, ensuring tactics support AbbVie’s objectives and values

Required

Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master's (MS) degree in Project Management, Organizational Development and or Leadership, Innovation/Change Management, Leadership, Strategic Leadership or other related degree
Exposure to business, communications, journalism, life sciences, or project management curriculum
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027

Preferred

1 to 2 years of experience in communications, change management, project management, or related function
Experience with strategic communications, stakeholder analysis, and organizational alignment
Familiarity with emerging communications trends and relevant technologies
Strong project management experience or relevant coursework
