Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries and month-end close processes

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

Assist with regulatory reporting (e.g., FFIEC, BL-1 Call Report) in compliance with FDIC, Federal Reserve, and other regulatory agencies

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Collaborate with internal departments to support audits, both internal and external

Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and banking regulations

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets

Recommend and help implement improvements to accounting procedures and controls
