Responsibilities
Lead your team to deliver novel hardware designs from inception, through manufacturing, implementation, maturation, and eventually deprecation
Be responsible for planning ahead to avoid hardware defects, and driving any problems to zero
Lead a team of skilled hardware engineers and technical program managers, to manage ODMs and work with internal stakeholders
Define implementation strategy and report status frequently to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience managing multi-discipline hardware development teams
Technical experience in compute and/or storage systems design, deployment and production operations
Hands-on experience in designing, developing and operationally supporting high volume enterprise servers
Hands-on experience with system-level analysis
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use
Preferred
Experience in working with CM/OEM/ODM vendors for design development and manufacturing
Knowledge of data-center infrastructure constraints including networking, power, space, and cooling
Proven success using written communications to influence product strategy
Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
