Responsibilities

Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations

Maintaining the general ledger system

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting

Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP

Analysis & problem solving

Normally receives minimal instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments

Uses office-automated systems to input data and generate reports

Checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records

Reconcile difficult accounts

Works on assignments that are difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations

Required

Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS

International multicurrency transaction experience

Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties

Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements

Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies

Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more

Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

5+ years experience with progressive accounting/financial reporting

Experienced in Deltek Costpoint or Similar ERP system

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (strong working knowledge of Excel)
