Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a dedicated provisioning services team responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure using OpenTofu and other IaC tools

Oversee the development and automation of cloud provisioning workflows across Azure, AWS, and GCP

Ensure provisioning practices align with security, compliance, and operational standards

Drive adoption of immutable infrastructure and as-a-service models across engineering teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and evolve infrastructure roadmaps

Promote best practices in infrastructure design, including multi-region deployments, high availability, and stateless/stateful architectures

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the provisioning domain

Identify creative solutions for technical challenges

Required

5+ years of application development and infrastructure engineering experience

Extensive experience leading engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, facilitating one-on-one coaching sessions, and managing HR-related duties to support team development and organizational alignment

Able to mentor different teams across the various engineering practices including extreme programming, product mindset, cloud/as-a-service approach, and infrastructure as code

Hands-on style - willingness and competence in producing necessary changes in our infrastructure and processes

Adept at facilitating diverse teams across time zones, multi-tasking, and working under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targets

Proven experience leading teams in cloud provisioning and automation, especially with Terraform or OpenTofu

Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management, including versioning, testing, and deployment of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Ability to translate business needs into scalable infrastructure solutions

Experience mentoring engineers in extreme programming, cloud-native architectures, and IaC principles

Solid ability to communicate effectively and present ideas & solutions across groups of diverse backgrounds

Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional
