Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure
Participate in geotechnical site investigation/laboratory testing programs and results interpretation
Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones
Manage the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases
Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution
Willingness to travel to client sites within the USA and internationally to support project activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
From 5-10 years of relevant experience in engineering, with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification being a valuable asset
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Familiarity with international tailings management standards
Proven experience in the design of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and related mine infrastructure
Expertise in dam stability analysis, water management, and civil design principles
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, GeoStudio (or similar software), and advanced modelling tools such as PLAXIS (or similar)
Willingness to travel to client sites within the USA and internationally to support project activities

Preferred

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
