Manager Quality Assurance

Trawick Construction is a company focused on quality control within the construction industry. As a Quality Control Manager, you will create and maintain a Quality Control-first organizational culture, implement programs, and provide training to ensure best practices are followed at work sites.

Responsibilities

Review customer construction procedures to guarantee all deliverables are met per customer requirements
Develop a balanced scorecard of metrics to drive continuous improvement of construction practices across the company
Implement effective and timely preventive and corrective action plans to ensure the recurrence of quality problems is eliminated
Maintain and update construction procedures documentation and communicate changes to subsidiary construction and quality leaders as needed
Support and participate in all internal quality and customer requested field audits
Manage, evaluate, and develop a team of Quality Control professionals to ensure that the company's activities are conducted effectively and ethically and comply with the organization's policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and laws
Prepare reports, forecasts and budgets as required

Required

To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Strong knowledge of engineering, equipment and practices related to construction activities
Knowledge of and proficiency with company approved tools (Rtasq/Field Audit/Bluebeam, etc)
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors
Ability to monitor and inspect work conducted by the company and its subcontractors
General technical knowledge of Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC), Passive Optical Networks (PON), & Fiber to the premise (FTTx) architectures
Proven to be self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously
Experience independently overseeing, creating, and/or managing projects
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
Willingness to travel as much as 50% of the time
Valid Driver's License
