Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure managed devices at each JRSS Army Enterprise network site. Provide support for router operations for routing devices within the Army JRSS boundary
Develop scripts and utilities for routine task automation and connection to software Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within the Army JRSS boundary
Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure Army JRSS Security Systems, which include the IPS/IDS, firewall, proxy, and routers
Update existing toolset displays and dashboards, as needed, to meet the customer's requirements
Develop and maintain the Knowledge and Lessons Learned repository of TTPs, migration documentation, change requests, product updates, architecture diagrams, and all daily/weekly/monthly reports
Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work
Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Ten (10+) years of experience with at least four (4+) years in an IT Manager or Lead position
MS or BA/BS in computer sciences or information technology with two (2+) additional years of experience
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
Experience with Windows Server, MCEM, MAC OS, RHEL, RedHat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor, KVM, Puppet, Patch, PowerShell, WSUS, and Release, STIG, Storage, Backup and restore
Preferred
Working knowledge and understanding of Enterprise network functionalities, Enterprise Army DoDIN/O&M/CND tools, procedures, and operational constructs to include Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based business processes
Expert understanding of Host-Based Security System
Senior-level expertise in configuring server hardware and OS software, as well as installing new software
Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) expertise and experience
Excellent working knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, DNS, and databases
Extensive experience using OS imaging and virtualization software
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); CAC/Token integration experience
Experience with VMware vSphere ESXi 5.x - (Networking, virtual switches, and virtual distributed switches); vCenter Server 5.x; and VMware vSphere Storage Appliance (VSA)
Working knowledge of Army or DoD Information Management and Security processes and procedures
