Mid LevelJerseySTEM is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. They are seeking a volunteer Software Development Lead to manage small tech projects, support other technical volunteers, and ensure the smooth operation of their tools and systems.

Responsibilities
Guide and support a small team of interns working on internal tools and scripts
Make sure teams are making progress on their assigned tasks
Step in as backup for other Tech Team leads when needed
Help organize and track technical tasks (using tools like Jira)
Assist in interviewing and onboarding new tech volunteers
Commit to 6 hours per week for at least 6 months
Qualification
Required
Some technical, programming, or scripting experience (e.g., APIs, automation, Google Apps Script/Javascript)
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Some familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Salesforce or willingness to learn
Strong leadership/team building skills
Resourceful, can-do attitude
Preferred
Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
