Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to AIUM, ACOG and maternal fetal medicine protocols
Contributes to the achievement of excellence in the department through the adherence to productivity, quality assurance, customer service, and code of conduct standards established by the department or organization
Follows hospital infection control policies and procedures
Teamwork ‐ Cooperates and works well with department staff members and all hospital personnel
Understands and adheres to University Hospital’s compliance standards as they appear in University Hospital's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and University Hospital regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Must be a graduate of an approved Ultrasound Program
ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required and current active registration required
Three (3) years of maternal fetal medicine experience required
Annual fit testing required
Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR
Preferred
Additional certification in Nuchal Translucency preferred
