Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in emerging technologies such as cloud platforms, connected services, AI, data, and IoT, including understanding licensing models, infrastructure, and partner ecosystems
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive commercialization and monetization efforts for innovation-focused business initiatives—from early-stage ideation through go-to-market execution
Conduct in-depth analysis of new business opportunities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, strategic partnerships, and evolving business models
Monitor and report on trends in the cloud data platform landscape, offering strategic insights on competitors and market movements
Represent the company at both internal and external speaking engagements and industry events
Work with marketing stakeholders to align regional messaging and go-to-market strategies with overall business objectives
Qualification
Required
Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments, particularly within early-stage or incubation projects
A strategic mindset combined with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguity, with a focus on measurable outcomes
Solid understanding of data infrastructure and architecture, and the ability to engage in informed technical discussions around scalability, platforms, and trade-offs
Proven track record of building trust-based relationships across business units, including executives, engineers, and partners
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking and stakeholder presentations
Strong project management capabilities, including identifying roadblocks and implementing process improvements
Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed or remote team
Preferred
3+ years of experience in a business analyst, business development, or strategy role—ideally within cloud platforms or business intelligence environments
A degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is preferred
Experience working in large enterprise settings, with familiarity in compliance, success metrics, SLA management, and stakeholder expectations
Skilled in crafting proposals and service agreements for enterprise clients
Background in top-tier consulting firms is a strong plus
Experience with computer vision or visual data, industrial IoT, and Industry 5.0 is highly desirable
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sales or partnership ecosystems is also valued
