Assistant or Associate Professor - Early Childhood Psychologist
OHSU School of Dentistry is dedicated to advancing health sciences and improving health outcomes for Oregonians. They are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in early childhood psychology to provide clinical care, education, and program development, focusing on early identification and treatment of developmental and emotional concerns in young children.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children including cognitive, developmental, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
Deliver evidence-based individual, dyadic and family treatments for early childhood mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, behavioral dysregulation, trauma, attachment disruptions, autism). Offer parental guidance, training, and support for varying issues including developmental milestones, emotional-behavioral management, and attachment
Collaborate with psychiatrists, pediatricians, social workers, educators and other professionals to coordinate care
Support OHSU’s educational mission through active participation in lectures, curriculum development and clinical supervision for the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program and the Psychiatry Residency program on topics related to assessment and intervention with young children and families
Participate in the scholarly life of the University including through Grand Rounds, consultation, and instruction. Serve on Departmental and University committees as appropriate
Engage in scholarly endeavors including research, program evaluation and dissemination of best practices in early childhood mental health, as appropriate and with approval
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (or related field) from an APA accredited graduate program, completion of an APA accredited internship with necessary post-doctoral supervised training
Licensed or license eligible in the state of Oregon
Specialized training, experience and strong capabilities in early childhood assessment and evidence-based psychotherapies. This includes expertise with structured interview tools such as the ADOS-2, WPPSI, etc., as well as skill in family centered and culturally responsive approaches including play therapy and dyadic treatments (e.g., Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT))
Experience and/or demonstrated readiness to work well in an interdisciplinary setting
Preferred
Additional experience with clinical education of trainees preferred
