Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team for test, circuit breakers & display team members during the 1st shift, ensuring alignment with daily production goals
This role is responsible for the final steps of the process and needs to ensure quality is delivered to our customers
Supervises, trains, and hires personnel and manages the team ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
Ensure adherence to daily production goals, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards
Monitor and resolve production issues, including workflow bottlenecks and equipment constraints
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members; support skills development and cross-training efforts
Monitor attendance, conduct performance reviews, and participate in hiring and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing facility
Ensures products meet customer specifications and quality expectations
Convey detailed and timely operation reports to monitor performance and inform decision-making

Required

Strong technical understanding of electrical/mechanical assembly processes
Experience with reading 3D Models, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Solid understanding of quality assurance standards and lean principles
Ability to lead employees to motivate; foster open, honest, and candid communication; and determine strengths and weaknesses. Ensure all shop employees know and follow all company safety policies and procedures
Must be able to effectively communicate with employees, other department managers and senior management
Must be able to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it, such as identifying defects in production
Understand production deadlines, shipping dates and must manage their time accordingly
Promote excellence throughout the department
Provide continuous improvement in all critical activities
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically
Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
Interface with other manufacturing departments, engineering, purchasing, processing, shipping and sales
Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred

Experience working with up to 600VAC preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
OR Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing leadership role (electrical assembly or related field strongly preferred)
