Quality Engineer Supervisor
Plastic Molding Manufacturing (PMM) has been a leader in the plastic molding industry since 1968, focusing on delivering exceptional manufacturing solutions. The Quality Engineer Supervisor will ensure products meet quality standards through inspection methods and oversee all quality department activities to maintain compliance with quality systems and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
Supervise all quality department activities, including inspection and audit, to ensure compliance to the quality system and to the customers requirements and expectations
Perform press checks
Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure compliance with specifications
Develop and report quality metrics for all stages of manufacturing, from purchased material through customer receipt
Train, supervise and empower all inspectors, quality technicians and quality engineers in assigned business unit
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines
Conduct quality audits to identify areas for improvement in the production process
Implement, improve, and maintain quality systems and procedures
Monitor adherence to FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Customer concern responses
Internal & external meeting participation
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly
Qualification
Required
Supervise all quality department activities, including inspection and audit, to ensure compliance to the quality system and to the customers requirements and expectations

Previous Quality Engineer & Quality Supervisor experience
Experience with Customer Communication regarding Quality matters
Experience overseeing Quality Auditors and actively have a presence on the production floor to monitor production quality
Proven Quality Assurance experience, within the Plastic Injection Molding or related industries
Experience with precision measuring tools and instruments (3+ years)
Knowledge of quality management systems
Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP standards
Experience with external ISO audits
Ability to conduct quality audits effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection processes
Experience in Medical new product lines (OQ / PQ)
