Responsibilities

Assist physicians and Cath Lab team members during a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures

Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in all Cath Lab procedure

Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments; promptly communicate any patient condition changes to nursing or medical staff

Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient and procedure

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards

Prioritize tasks in high-acuity situations and respond confidently to cardiovascular emergencies as they relate to technologist specifications

Required

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology

Completion of Basic EKG course

ARRT certification in Radiography

Arizona CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license

Minimum of 6 months' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification—must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Preferred

ARRT (R)(CI) certification – Radiography with Cardiac Interventional credential

1 year of hands-on Cath Lab experience
