The Radiology Technologist III will perform various radiologic procedures, monitor patients, and assist with quality assurance and patient flow coordination while maintaining equipment and relationships with medical staff.

Responsibilities

Monitoring patients during procedures
Performing Specialized Radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols
Working in various areas and with various equipment
Assists with QA and QI studies and patient flow coordination
Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic images
Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration
Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff
Assists the Radiologist with procedures sterile technique
Other duties as required
Must work various shifts, weekends and be able to be on call

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyComputed Tomography LicenseARRT CertificationCertified Radiology TechBLS CertificationCath Lab experiencePatient monitoringQuality AssuranceQuality Improvement

Required

Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology
Minimum three (3) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Current Computed Tomography (CT) License, Special procedures
Current ARRT
Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) – California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) Certification
Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred

Cath Lab experience preferred
