Responsibilities

Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients
Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner
Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients

Qualification

ARRT(R) (C) certificationState License in Diagnostic Radiologic TechnologyBLS certificationDiagnostic imaging experiencePatient careCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsProblem-solving

Required

ARRT(R) (C) certification
State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
BLS certification

Preferred

At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience
