Responsibilities
Client engagement and interaction
Proposal and fee development
Project site investigations
Code review and analysis
Architectural design, including detailing, and delegation of work to intern architects and designers, and review of their work
Preparation and review of design reports, building condition surveys, construction drawings and specifications; and
Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Architecture
Minimum of 10+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects
Acute analytical skills
Capability to design and manage small to large projects
Comprehensive technical background across all facets of architectural and building design, including code review and client management
Excellent communication and writing skills
Software capabilities must include Microsoft Office platform, Revit, and Autocad
Strong working knowledge of basic construction and industry standards, as well as State building codes
Broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including structural, electrical, mechanical and civil engineers
