Responsibilities
Create and optimize data models and structures for the warehouse to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
Implement and manage Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to move data from various sources into the warehouse
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the warehouse, establishing policies and auditing regularly
Monitor and optimize database and system performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure efficiency
Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation
Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Qualification
Required
Certification in SQL, BI, or related areas (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, CBIP)
Experience with cloud-based BI and data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with SSIS and Azure Data Factory
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
5-10 years of experience
Preferred
Familiarity with programmatic data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus
Experience with relational database design and development a plus, Oracle and SQL Server ideal
