Responsibilities

Engineer and optimize resilient multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) and multi-region environments

Secure and govern platforms by implementing compliance frameworks and IAM best practices

Automate everything with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and custom tooling

Optimize costs and performance across AWS, GCP, and Databricks by leveraging monitoring and observability tools

Collaborate deeply with engineering teams to shape architecture, resolve incidents, and deliver improvements

Contribute to strategy by influencing architectural decisions and scaling best practices

Required

3–5 years of platform engineering or cloud infrastructure experience

Strong hands-on expertise in AWS and GCP (multi-cloud, multi-region)

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

Experience implementing cloud security and compliance frameworks

Skilled in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go)

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with cloud cost management tools (Cost Explorer, Cloudability, etc.)

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams

Preferred

Direct Databricks administration experience

Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Databricks)

Knowledge of regulated environments (SOC2, PCI, GDPR, financial services)

Experience with chaos engineering or disaster recovery planning

Exposure to Salesforce, Adobe, or data lake/warehouse architectures
