1+ years expVCI Construction is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for posting data, reconciling accounts, and maintaining relevant records to ensure accurate vendor payments. The role involves processing vendor invoices, preparing cash disbursement forecasts, and communicating with vendors to resolve inquiries and disputes.

Responsibilities
Entering vendor invoices into ERP system for corporate and satellite offices
Processing and coding to proper GL accounts all vendor invoices
Performing three-way match (inv/PO/receiver). Reconciling purchase order differences
Obtaining authorization for payment of non-PO invoices. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies either
Input approved check requests and prepares them for payment
Preparing vendor setups with proper supporting documentation and maintaining vendor accounts
Preparing cash disbursement forecast for CFO weekly
Preparing all disbursement data entry over a specified threshold for CFO’s review and approval
Issuing vendor payments (checks/ACH) according to terms
Communicating and responding to inquiries from vendors, employees, and management to resolve disputes
Processing and coding to proper GL accounts all expense reports based on established Corporate policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Working knowledge of Accounts Payable
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
Strong Written & Oral Communication skills
Strong Computer skills; knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics Solomon a big plus
Excellent analytical skills
Organized, detail oriented and able to work independently
Strong 10-key skills
Team player, self-motivated and able to work in a fast pace environment
Proven ability to interact with a variety of people and work with all levels within the organization
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Preferred
Knowledge of Job Costing a big plus
BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics a plus
1 to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Strong Math skills
