Responsibilities

Cultivating and expanding strategic client relationships by identifying new business opportunities, securing engagements aligned with emerging needs, and consistently delivering high-quality work
Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of structural/building envelope performance failures
Conducting projects and supervising others analytical and computer problem solving
Leading field investigations and diagnostic surveys
Preparing and presenting technical reports and complicated engineering assessments
Continued professional development towards maintaining professional expertise
Providing expert testimony where appropriate

Required

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Significant business development experience with a proven track record
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Massachusetts
Demonstrated ability to attract projects and develop a group of highly motivated individuals
Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical engineering and project management post-graduation
An outstanding professional reputation with an existing client base
Experience providing expert testimony in a dispute resolution setting
Significant experience in construction claims, dispute resolution, and litigation services
Experience drafting/reviewing analysis, reports, and presentations
Effective leadership skills with the ability to positively interact with professionals, technical staff, and administrative staff
Outstanding professional reputation and a record of publications
Strong client base in similar market areas
A dedication to quality and accuracy

Preferred

Structural Engineer (SE) License is preferred
