Cadence Bank is offering a Credit Analyst Internship aimed at introducing students to the processes involved in underwriting and servicing commercial loans. Interns will participate in various training sessions and engage with senior leaders while making valuable contributions to the bank and the communities it serves.

Responsibilities

Participate in credit underwriting training including readings, exercises, and review sessions

Participate in business skills training including review sessions, exercises and presentations

Participate in question and answer sessions with Senior Loan Committee including reviewing credit packages ahead of time

Performs other duties as required

Required

3.0 or higher GPA

Plan to take a minimum of 9 hours of accounting including intermediate before graduation

Strong technical and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated leadership though extracurricular activates and internship/work experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications to include Word and Excel, as well as other database applications systems

Pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with one year or less before graduation

High School or better
