Responsibilities
You will continuously observe heart rhythm, blood pressure and Spo2 monitors to note changes
You will notify charge person of changes
You will post rhythm strips on each patient in phase II chart
You will instruct patient on equipment use
You will provide patient education on disease processes and restorative measures for lifestyle changes
You will perform 6-minute walk tests
You will perform patient evaluation for program eligibility and assessment
You will plan and implement individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient
Patient evaluation can be conducted either inpatient or outpatient as needed
Oxygen Titrations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
