Responsibilities
Handle high stakes litigation with cutting edge scientific issues
Take courtroom and deposition skills to the next level
Write and argue significant motions
Achieve the best possible results for clients
Mentor associates to become the best advocates they can be
Manage cases with limited supervision
Engage in forward-facing client interactions
Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
Qualification
Required
At least three (3) to eight (8) years of substantive litigation experience (including taking depositions and/or arguing motions in court) in one or more of the following subject areas: CERCLA; RCRA; silica; talc & asbestos; nuisance & trespass; complex litigation; tort and products liability; general environmental and toxic tort
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in California
Candidates must be team players with strong academic credentials
Candidates must be self-starters who feel ready to handle cases with limited supervision
Preferred
Cannabis experience is a plus
