New Grad, Entry LevelCenterpoint Medical Center is a healthcare provider dedicated to community service and patient care. The Radiology Technologist PRN will operate X-ray equipment to perform radiographic examinations, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality in imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
You will prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
You will develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation
You will administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history)
You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment
You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology
Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually
Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program)
BCLS required within 30 days of start date
