Responsibilities

Lead the development of change strategies to drive effective execution of multi-year initiatives impacting thousands of employees and agents / advisors
Pro-actively anticipate issues and challenges associated with large strategic initiatives and provide solutions to address them with senior leadership teams across the businesses and Agency
Play a key leadership role in implementing complex operational and technology change initiatives to successfully achieve adoption and OKRs. Lead implementations for significant yet less multi-faceted initiatives
Work with team members and business leaders to document dependencies and provide input into planning to support delivery of desired outcomes
Lead various project teams to execute multiple aspects of the change strategy and ensure these are integrated into an overall readiness plan
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to solve operational and technology issues that may result from program launches and ongoing enhancements
Partner with key stakeholders to conduct detailed impact analysis and develop strategies to minimize disruption while maximizing adoption
Help identify potential issues that could challenge execution and contribute to readiness plans that reduce risk and inform decision-making
Partner with departmental and Agency communications teams and initiative leads to develop and evolve on-going communication strategies that drive high understanding and commitment to strategic initiatives
Work with internal teams to develop creative learning and training assets and programs that quickly drive adoption and utilization of new processes and technologies

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, proven experience executing change management strategies
Exceptional business acumen (particularly Agency) and learning agility
Understanding of financial services industry and competitive landscape
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present complex or abstract ideas in simple and engaging terms and in multiple formats / channels
Strong understanding of how to motivate and drive change across large, diverse stakeholder groups
Familiar with insurance industry and current competitive landscape; understanding of NYL's new business processes
