Responsibilities
You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table
You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions
You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment
You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Must be a graduate of a program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible with completion of examination within 6 months of hire to maintain employment
Certification in Computerized Tomography (ARRT-CT) required within 1 year of registry eligibility
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Able to accurately complete radiology examinations as ordered by the referring physicians
On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back
Preferred
Minimum of one year hospital department experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred
