Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency computed tomography and related procedures in accordance with the departmental policy and procedure manual and the Radiologist’s request, producing exams of acceptable technical quality
Interact with patients, physicians, and personnel in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner
Qualification
Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. If new graduate, must obtain ARRT within six months of registry eligible date
Certification in BLS required within 30 days of hire
Preferred
Certification in Computerized Tomography preferred. If not currently registered in CT, must become CT registered within twelve months of hire date
