Responsibilities
You will plan, direct and oversee technical aspects of the Imaging Department in regards to services and programs, and evaluate these programs regularly
You will prepare necessary reports and documents
You are responsible for ensuring that assigned sections are adequately staffed for performance of duties
You will operate x- ray or diagnostic equipment
You must demonstrate a working knowledge of ALL modalities, ability to educate/explain exams performed, and demonstrate above average skill in your modality specialty, performing all ordered exams, both invasive and non-invasive
You will provide patient and family education
Qualification
Required
Graduate of AMA approved school of radiologic technology
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists/ARRT (R)
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Medical Board/TMB license
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
Preferred
One year of Lead Technologist experience in Diagnostic Imaging
