Responsibilities
You will perform service and preventive maintenance on all boilers, chillers, emergency generators, pumps, control valves and auxiliary machinery, in a prompt manner
You will submit estimates of material and labor needed for each project and oversee the upgrading of stock
You will operate boilers, auxiliary equipment and the HVAC system 24 hours a day
You will prepare boilers, chillers, generators and related equipment for annual city, state and insurance inspections
You will perform daily tests on water samples to record and determine what, if any, corrective actions are to be taken
You will perform after hours safety inspections for incoming clinical and non-clinical equipment
You will take routine maintenance calls as required
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
3 years of experience as Stationary Engineer, is required
Current 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License through the city of Houston, Texas, is required
