Responsibilities
Delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services to support the efficient operation of the surgical suite
Assists the surgical staff in the perioperative process in accordance with the Surgical Technologist Extern’s skills/training and the needs of the Department
Consistently assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an approved Surgical Technologist program
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Preferred
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
