Responsibilities
Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders
Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and safety during procedures
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to radiologists
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
Collaborate effectively with radiology staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of MRI equipment and imaging areas
Perform MRI scans on patients while ensuring their comfort and safety
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during MRI procedures
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Maintain and operate MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance
Document and report imaging results accurately and promptly
Engage in performance reviews to assess personal and team goals
Utilize pipelines to track and achieve imaging targets effectively
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient imaging needs
Monitor patient reactions and provide necessary support during procedures
Evaluate and troubleshoot any technical issues with MRI equipment
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualification
Required
ARRT (MR) certification required
Minimum of 1-2 years MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Valid MRI technologist certification and state license
Experience operating MRI equipment and performing scans
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction and support
Strong understanding of safety protocols in MRI procedures
Capability to troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment
Ability to document and report imaging results accurately
Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals on patient care
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Preferred
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems preferred
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
Proficient in using pipelines to track and achieve imaging targets
