CAAS Chief Financial Officer
Boulay is a firm that offers accounting and consulting services aimed at helping privately held owner-managed organizations. They are seeking a CAAS Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will manage financial reporting operations for outsourced accounting clients and serve as a Trusted Advisor while mentoring the CAAS team.

Responsibilities
Provide Strategic CFO consulting functions to CAAS Clients – from client proposal to final work products
Establish and maintain the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and other long-term financial planning and cost management resources
Manage capital planning, risk management, and the analysis of financial ratios and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Primary point of contact for the client's professional team, including the board of directors, attorneys, insurance and financial experts, banks, etc
Integrated resource and performance planning, solutions implementation, and management with other business areas (marketing & sales, HR, technology)
Oversee all aspects of Management Reporting and Analysis, as well as other technical work products
Promote business through participation in business development activities
Oversee and manage the budget on assigned engagements
Offer specialized knowledge in a particular industry or service area
Assist CAAS Director and Partners in proposal and cross-sell opportunities
Serve as a backup in completing all aspects of client work
Be a key member of the overall CAAS practice, supporting a shared vision, coaching and motivating team members, and building a spirit of trust within the team
Ensure that “best practices” are developed and used within the Transaction Group, including policies, processes, and tools
Seek new ways and better ideas for accomplishing job and Firm goals
Serve as an Advisor for employees on the CAAS Team
Qualification
Required
Experience in managing financial reporting operations for outsourced accounting clients
Proven ability to serve as a Trusted Advisor to clients
Experience in mentoring and leading teams
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning
Experience in capital planning and risk management
Ability to analyze financial ratios and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Experience in client-facing roles, including working with boards of directors and financial experts
Ability to integrate resource and performance planning with other business areas
Experience in management reporting and analysis
Participation in business development activities
Ability to manage budgets on assigned engagements
Specialized knowledge in a particular industry or service area
Experience in proposal and cross-sell opportunities
Ability to serve as a backup in completing all aspects of client work
