Linn-Benton Community College is seeking a Music Program Social Media Aide to enhance the online presence of LB Choirs across various social media platforms. The role involves posting creative updates, engaging with followers, and collaborating with marketing teams to promote choir activities.

Post creative weekly updates pertaining to information about LB Choirs’ activities or other ways to engage our audience

Connect to other organizations via social media

Collaborate with Advancement-Marketing and Raymund for content

Engage social media followers

Find new and creative ways to get LB Choirs’ message out through social media

Execute marketing plan in collaboration with LBCC Advancement

Grow follower base each term

Post content on YouTube, SoundCloud and other a/v media services

Ensure that content posted follows copyright laws

Check with Raymund as to what pieces to post

Find creative ways to use a/v/ social media to get LB Choirs’ message out

Attend weekly 10-minute stand up meetings (Mondays at 2:50pm)

Required

Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC

Maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term

Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better (some positions may require a higher GPA)

Have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College

Must have social media experience, either personal or professional

Must be a 'self-starter'

Must be able to work with others collaboratively

Must have experience with digital a/v sites

Must have video/sound editing experience

Must be able to work with others collaboratively
