Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic finance/operations leader and active member of the Senior Leadership team

Partner with the President to accelerate execution, optimize outcomes and reduce costs

Leader and collaborator with the capacity to bring together cross-function leaders in a way that fosters collaboration and innovation

Lead the Company’s innovation efforts including the reinforcement of the behaviors that encourage innovation

Represents the organization within Berkley, collaborating effectively with business partners

Responsible for the financial management of both long and short-term planning, ensuring scalable systems and processes

Oversee of treasury, accounting, budgeting, premium audit, agency bill and accounts receivable functions

Deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasting to ensure the company’s financial viability

Maintain internal controls and ensure successful audits and compliance

Provide strategic financial insights aligned with the company’s market position and business model

Monitor financial performance and advise the President on strategic direction

Analyze data and performance trends to identify opportunities and drive results

Required

10+ years of finance/operations experience

5+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and operations

Exceptional organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks

Strong project management and leadership skills; the ability to organize and drive projects with diverse stakeholders

Strong orientation toward achieving results, attention to detail, and proven ability to drive toward long-term goals

Ability to be nimble and rapidly pivot when needed
