Clinical Operations Coordinator

The Clinical Operations Coordinator will support the staffing and operational needs of the clinical department, focusing on recruitment, compliance, training, and day-to-day operations to ensure providers are set up for success.

Responsibilities
Support end-to-end recruitment for MDs, NPs, and RNs, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities
Assist leadership in tracking staffing needs across multiple states and specialties
Help coordinate provider schedules and coverage, ensuring patient access across time zones
Serve as a point of contact for new hires during recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate experience
Track and maintain all provider credentials, licenses, DEA registrations, and renewals
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state board requirements, and DEA regulations
Partner with credentialing vendors (e.g., Provider Trust) to maintain accurate provider records
Keep leadership updated on upcoming license expirations and compliance risks
Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new providers
Manage Joyous’ provider education platform, ensuring training content is up to date
Distribute training materials related to protocols, digital systems (EHR, scheduling tools), and compliance standards
Collect feedback from new providers to improve onboarding and training
Coordinate uniform distribution and ensure adherence to Joyous’ provider dress code standards
Assist in the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring efficient workflows and patient care support
Collaborate with RNs and leadership to identify process improvements
Support cross-department initiatives that impact provider operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, human resources, or related field
1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, recruiting/staffing, or provider support
Familiarity with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, DEA, medical boards)
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
Preferred
Experience with provider credentialing and scheduling is a plus
Prior experience with EHR systems (DrChrono preferred)
