Responsibilities

Assist the communications team with key aspects of social media management
Take on each brand’s tone of voice and jump into the social convo — engaging with our brands’ social media communities, responding to comments, and helping shape how our brands show up across platforms
Monitor brand DMs and respond in a timely manner
Spot the trends before they pop off — you’ll research what’s buzzing online to help us tap into cultural moments and viral opportunities and work alongside our social team to create viral community management moments in our own comment section
Ideating social-first ideas to bring our brand personality to life (content, creator collabs, giveaways, and IRL activations that drive engagement and build community)
Manage and grow our brand social communities across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more learning platform-specific strategies along the way
Hands on experience with major social platforms- actively managing/growing comminutes across TikTok, Meta and various other platforms. This exposure will help them become proficient in platform-specific strategies and social media best-practices
Track engagement metrics to continually optimize and learn, turning data into actionable insights
Develop an understanding of the day-to-day requirements of a social media marketer and opportunity to collaborate with the full marketing team, gaining exposure to integrated campaigns and cross-functional strategy

Required

Rising Senior in college/university, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
Strong business acumen and analytical ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organization skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
Effective problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and bias for action
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrated personal and professional values
Understanding of culture and fandom with a finger on the pulse of social media, trends and an ability to speak the 'internet language' of our followers
Social media platform proficiency - Meta/Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter) and emerging platforms
Have access to local housing and reliable transportation
Be able to work during our 10 week summer program, which is a 40-hour week, beginning June 1st, 2026 through at least August 7th 2026

Preferred

Exposure to earned or paid influencer outreach and partnerships
Personal content creation experience and/or proven ability to develop a distinct social media voice (personal or brand account)
Basic knowledge of tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Meltwater, Brandwatch or other tracking and social listening tools
Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands
Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
Leadership experience on or off campus
