Responsibilities

Provide individualized support to a specific child and the classroom teaching team for 32 hours per week

Meet required screenings and complete background checks in compliance with Vermont Licensing Regulations for Center-Based Childcare and Preschool Program Regulations

Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Be able to comprehend basic written format

Complete the Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals course or the Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate within the first twelve (12) months of employment

Have a commitment to social justice and to working with families with limited financial resources

Access to reliable transportation

Physical ability to carry out required tasks
