Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily involvement of all musculoskeletal surgical cases and follow up post-op related functions
Participate in all patient care conferences as they relate to surgical cases
Identify physician needs are met, equipment/supply needs, etc
Answer calls for materials and supplies as needed
OR supplies/instrumentation needs and schedule review

Qualification

Certified Surgical TechnologistBLS CertificationOR experienceGraduate of ST schoolPatient care conferences

Required

HS /GED education
Graduate of approved ST school or above
Previous OR experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Specialty
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) through National Center of Competency Testing (NCCT)
American Heart Association BLS
