Responsibilities

Proficiency in Material Management:
Skillful in offering material recommendations, substitutions, identification, and testing
Familiarity with material specifications such as ASTM, AISI, SAE, ACI, AA, UNS, and JIS
Welding and Brazing Procedures:
Proficient in writing welding and brazing procedure specifications
Documenting procedure qualification records
Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Quality System:
Taking a leadership role in the company’s NDE quality system
Responsibilities include maintaining NDE technician certifications through testing
Authoring MT, PT, ET (Electromagnetic or Eddy Current), and UT specifications
Certification as an ASNT Level III or equivalent is required
Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCA):
Directing, developing, performing, and documenting extensive RCA for failed components to support service work

Required

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering
One year (preferably intern experience) in a manufacturing or service setting
Ability to deliver technical presentations including Root Cause Analysis to customers
Strong verbal and written communications skills including familiarity with procedure and process documentation and technical report writing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Certification as an ASNT Level III or equivalent is required
Proficiency in Material Management

Familiarity with material specifications such as ASTM, AISI, SAE, ACI, AA, UNS, and JIS
Proficient in writing welding and brazing procedure specifications
